POISE Foundation launches new grant program for Black community organizations

POISE Foundation, a Pittsburgh-based foundation whose programs go towards funding equity and self-sustainment in Pittsburgh's Black communities, announced the launch of a new grant program on Thu., July 30 that would raise and distribute funds to Black community organizations. The grantmaking program, opened through the foundation’s existing Human Equity and Justice fund, has two methods of funding: the Rapid Response Mini-Grant program, which offers grants of up to $2,500 for Black-led organizations responding to an immediate crisis, and the Racial Equity Seed Grant program, which offers up to $5,000 to youth-led and intergenerational Black organizations working in the community...
